The Lodge

The Lodge comprises an entrance lobby leading to a large hall. Downstairs is a cloak room, sitting room, dining room with open fire, kitchen and utility room. Upstairs a large hall leads to three bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a double and single bed with its own shower room and dressing room (which has plenty of space for a cot). The other two bedrooms are also doubles. One has a king size bed and the other two single beds. Both bedrooms have original walk-in cupboards so hanging space is never a problem. A high speed wireless internet connection is also available.

With its spacious rooms, original features and beautiful antiques, the Lodge has a real "country house" feel. Your experience is further enhanced by luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets and towels, open fires and a local produce hamper on arrival.

Visitors are encouraged to enjoy their private garden, which was originally the walled vegetable garden. Fruit trees provide shade and a large lawn is perfect for outdoor games or relaxing with a book. The paved south-facing terrace is adorned with olive trees and is perfect for outdoor meals, barbecues or just for enjoying a quiet cup of tea. The front of the house overlooks the original stable blocks.
